Clinical Excellence ● Entrepreneurial Thinking ● Impact-Driven AI
Foundry for Urologic Science & Entrepreneurship
We are building a world-class innovation hub where excellence in medical research meets entrepreneurship and AI. By bringing together top-tier clinicians, researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, industry partners and AI specialists, we transform scientific discoveries into real-world impact, accelerating the development of new technologies, therapies, companies, and models of care that improve patients' lives.
FUSE runs two distinct innovation tracks under one roof, sharing one overarching mission: Clinical Excellence.
Track One, From Year 1
A Curation Model, The Accelerator
The idea originates outside. We accelerate it.
We select existing founder-led teams with proven ideas and accelerate their development, inside a real hospital environment.
Selection · Capital · Clinical Access · Data · MentorshipTrack Two
A Creation Model, The Venture Studio
The idea originates inside. We are co-founder and builder.
We originate ideas internally, recruit talent to execute them, and build companies from scratch.
Idea Generation · Talent recruitment · Capital · Data · IP Ownership · Co-Building"In the coming years, artificial intelligence will be the main driver of innovation in healthcare. It will be the key to major advances in medical diagnosis, prevention, and treatment, as well as in the organization of care."
Prof. Michaël Peyromaure , Head of Urology, AP-HP Hôpital Cochin; Medical Director, Uroplus Foundation
The Department of Urology at AP-HP Cochin, led by Pr. Michaël Peyromaure, combines exceptional patient volume, structured clinical data, and a strong commitment to innovation and AI. Together with a dedicated urology foundation providing private funding and operational flexibility, it offers a uniquely favorable environment to build a world-class HealthTech innovation platform inspired by leading Silicon Valley accelerators experienced firsthand by members of our founding team.
Healthcare innovation depends on access to patients, clinical expertise, and real-world evidence. FUSE brings these assets together to develop, validate, and scale solutions that improve patient care.
FUSE is a focused, domain-driven platform. Every startup is anchored in focused verticals, ensuring relevance, coherence, and the attraction of top founders and researchers. The journey begins with urology and will expand to other HealthTech domains over time.
A unique combination of an accelerator and a venture studio within a single HealthTech platform creates a powerful engine for innovation. Track 1 generates ventures, reputation, and deal flow. Track 2 creates intellectual property, partnerships, clinical excellence, and long-term value.
FUSE operates as an independent SAS subsidiary, with its own governance, designed to reach operational break-even. Free from the procurement cycles and political constraints of public institutions, it moves at the speed innovation demands.
"Seeing the concepts I teach in AI at École Polytechnique translated into real-world impact is deeply meaningful to me. My journey with Sonio convinced me that entrepreneurship is one of the fastest ways to accelerate the development and adoption of innovations that can improve millions of patients' lives. Joining forces with leading clinicians offers an unique opportunity to maximize the positive impact we can have on people's lives thanks to AI."
Prof. Erwan Lepennec , Professor, École Polytechnique; Co-Founder, FUSE
Clinical authority. Entrepreneurial track record. Legal and regulatory rigour. Statistical depth and AI authority. Each co-founder brings a dimension that is rare on its own, together, they cover every axis a HealthTech innovation engine requires.
Advisory Board
"We have the patients, the data, the space, and the top-tier medical specialists. What we build now is the engine that turns these assets into Europe's most important innovation platform in prostate cancer, and possibly in HealthTech."
Olivier Carteret, CEO, FUSEThe right question is: what does it cost to become the leading European institution in HealthTech innovation, and what is that position worth? The answer reframes what investment means.
At 4 companies per cohort and 1 cohort per year, total program investment over 5 years is approximately €7M. A single exit at €500M valuation on a 7% stake returns €35M. Returns are possible. They are not the primary objective.
Recognition as Europe's leading urology institution. Philanthropic and EU grant leverage. Corporate partnerships at premium terms. A proprietary data asset that compounds with every cohort. These do not appear on a cap table, but they are durable.
